I’ve always loved the kid table—a space of humor, innovation, creativity, and deep conversations. But that space is often treated as “less than” the adult table. Children’s books are also dismissed by those who see children as less than adults. This newsletter is part of my rebellion against that dismissal.

I don’t call my newsletter “the kid table” because that space will always be owned by children. But because I make children’s books, I often get invited to sit AT THE KID TABLE which is a true honor. I craft each newsletter as a joyful celebration of the kid table perspective and everything that helps me return there to make books. I hope you’ll join me.
